POLYENERGY was founded in Greece in 2007 targeting to have a significant share in the growing Greek PV Market by providing high quality PV project development services.

In 2007 we prepared and submitted application folders for the licensing of thirty four (34) PV farms in Greece and in 2011 we licensed eighteen (18) PV farms of total power 28,700 KWp, among which 18,400 kWp were our own.

In 2012 under BOT contract agreement we transferred the ownership of our five (5) PV farms in Crete/Greece to an offshore RES Partner.

The announced saturation of the Electric Grid by the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy in Peloponnesus Greece in 2012, which is expected to be rectified within 2016, has kept behind the development of our PV projects. We estimate the implementation of the Projects by 2017.

The changes in the Greek RES legislation in 2012 motivated us to expand our project development services so as to cover the Recycling, Biomass, MSW & Thermal Sea Desalination energy sectors. Since 2011 we had developed the HARTZA hybrid energy model that concerns an applied integration of Wind / Solar Thermal / MSW Gasification / Sea Thermal Desalination & Algae Bioreactor Applied Technologies.

In 2012 under BOT contract agreements with Partner companies, we applied for the licensing of the only five (5) Greek CHP Waste Projects, utilizing RDF & TDF for the highly efficient co-generation of Heat & Power adopting the Gasification Technology. The licensing is still in progress since we are still negotiating with the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) the revision of their licensing guide to comply with the new legislation (2012) for highly efficient CHP Plants.

Having established partnerships with national and international designers and manufacturers of electrical equipment & materials, POLYENERGY has grown to become a GROUP providing complete engineering and economic consulting services over a wide range of electrical systems and applications.
